Sortify — The first AI email automation built for Swiss SMEs

Monday, 8:30 a.m. Your receptionist opens the inbox. 73 unread emails — invoices next to applications next to client requests next to newsletters. By 10:00 she's still sorting.
This happens every morning in every Swiss SME. The cost: roughly CHF 18,000 per year, per company in pure triage time. And the knowledge of who gets what lives in one person's head. When she's sick, the company goes blind.
The existing tools don't fit: Gmail filters break the moment the business gets complex. German products don't understand Treuhänder workflows or Berufsgeheimnis. And US AI tools? They send your confidential client emails to a cloud you can't audit.
A Swiss lawyer called me asking for exactly this tool. He'd looked everywhere. Nothing fit. So I built Sortify — from one uncompromising rule:
Sortify does not store the contents of your emails. Period.
That rule shapes every decision:
- The body stays in memory. Each email is fetched, classified, routed, discarded — all in a single process. No body on disk, not in the database, not in a US cloud.
- Your rules run before AI. Sortify checks your rules first. AI only steps in when your rules find nothing.
- EU data residency, Swiss founder. Hosted in Frankfurt. Backups encrypted. Every support email answered by me, personally.
Sortify is not a new inbox. You stay in Gmail or Outlook. Sortify works quietly in the background.
Define your categories once — Sortify handles them forever:
- Invoice → move to "Accounting" + forward to accounting@firma.ch + mark as read
- Application → forward to HR + flag for the owner
- Client request → identify and prioritise
You give Sortify the logic once. It executes a thousand times — on every new email, in seconds, without anyone watching.
And when Sortify gets it wrong? You move the email manually. Sortify learns from every correction. Next time, it gets it right.

Drei Tarife. Keine versteckten Kosten. 14 Tage gratis testen — keine Kreditkarte.

Founder-led. Every support email answered by me — in 24 hours, often in one.
Sortify is live at sortify.ch. Swiss SMEs are testing it now.
- CHF 49.90 / 149.90 / 299 per month — three tiers, no hidden costs
- 14-day free trial — no credit card, no risk
- EU data residency, DSG-compliant, Berufsgeheimnis-compatible
- Founder-led — every support request answered by me, personally
Convert your team's triage time into Swiss francs, compare it with Sortify, and the question isn't whether — it's when.
“"A Swiss lawyer told me his receptionist loses two hours every morning to email sorting. He'd looked everywhere — nothing fit. So I built Sortify. Uncompromising on privacy. Built for Switzerland." — Nassim Ramadan, Founder of byNas / Sortify”
How Sortify does NOT store your emails
The interesting thing about Sortify isn't what it does. It's what it deliberately doesn't do — and the engineering work that refusal requires.
The flow, in four steps
IMAP fetch ──▶ [ Worker — RAM only ] ──▶ Audit log (DB)
│
├─ 1. Your rules first (instant, free)
├─ 2. AI (only when needed)
├─ 3. Action: move + forward + flag
└─ 4. Discard body — task ends, RAM cleared
Audit log keeps: sender · subject · category · confidence
Audit log NEVER keeps: body · attachments · headers
What stays: enough data to prove what happened. Not enough to reveal what was said.
What that means in practice
- Competitors built on US cloud AI can't copy this — not without rebuilding their architecture. The privacy claim is structural, not marketing.
- Our error monitoring sees no bodies. Email contents are scrubbed from every log before they leave the worker.
- Retention: 90 days by default, configurable. You decide how long the audit log lives.
